Welcome to the California Automobile Museum located in Sacramento, CA. The Museum is a spacious 72,000 square foot building that is home to over 150 vehicles of various makes and models, ranging from the early 1900s to alternative power vehicles of the future. Exhibits recreate the love affair we have with automobiles and provide historical information about the automotive industry.
The mission of the California Automobile Museum is to educate and entertain while preserving and promoting the automobile and its influence on our lives. The Museum hosts a variety of education programs for both adults and children, special events, and rotating exhibits each month so come often! You can even rev up your next party by renting the Museum or purchase your dream car or next project from the Museum.

2nd Annual CAM Car Cruise --- July 31, 2010 --- get ready for Sacramento to come alive with the sights and sounds of over two hundred unique cars from all eras and manufacturers as they converge on Downtown and Midtown Sacramento to celebrate an American summertime tradition of hot rod cruising with community-wide participation. The 2nd Annual CAM Car Cruise, hosted by the California Automobile Museum (CAM), will be a fun-filled day for the whole family and will begin with a car show at the California Automobile Museum. Cars will then proceed on a car cruise through the streets of Sacramento, ending in Midtown Sacramento for a final car show, where attendees are encouraged to enjoy the local fares of Midtown vendors. Price for car cruise participants is $39 early registration, $49 after June 30 with an extra $5 off for CAM Gearhead members. General admission is free for spectators.
Automobilia! Celebrating Italian Automotive Design --- September 11, 2010 - August 14, 2011 --- the Museum will dedicate a new exhibit space to the artistry and influence of Italian auto manufacturing on the world\'s auto industry. This exhibit marks the first in a series of year-long exhibits designed to highlight a specific focus within the automotive industry. AUTOMOBILIA! will transport the museum visitor to an Italian piazza built inside the museum, housing a rare collection of memorable and exotic cars with an Italian pedigree. Special Italian-themed events will be held throughout the length of the exhibit, culminating with the Museum\'s 3rd Annual Car Cruise through the streets of Sacramento, CA.
